Inauguration of ‘Bharat Parva-2021’: Lok Sabha Speaker Birla said – Tourism is an area of immense potential

The ‘Bharat Parva-2021’ organized by the Ministry of Tourism was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday. On this occasion, Birla said that through ‘Bharat Parv’, the Ministry of Tourism has done the work of bringing together the tourism, spiritual and other activities of the country on one platform.
At the beginning of the program, Birla greeted everyone on Republic Day. He appreciated India’s democracy and said that our democracy has matured, strengthened and effective in the journey of more than seven decades.
The Corona era is challenging for the tourism sector
Talking about the disaster caused by the Corona epidemic, Birla said it was a time of greatest challenge for the tourism sector. Even after this challenge, people associated with the tourism sector worked to turn the challenge into an opportunity. Expressing the immense potential of the tourism sector in India, Birla said that this is the only area where maximum people get employment. If we have to change the socio-economic conditions then we have to increase the tourism sector.
Appreciating the role of the states, Birla said that every state has worked towards developing places related to tourism and spirituality. We are working to connect the whole country through tourism and culture.
India is a center of attraction
There is no state or district in the country that does not have any specialty. Due to these characteristics, India is a centre of attraction for tourists from India and abroad. Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel was also present on this occasion.
